There is one problem that comes with the round table: it often can’t be accommodated in a rectangular room, unless you avoid adding the sideboard and other pieces of furniture.
If you are lacking space, then you should choose a dining room set that is smaller scaled, even if it is round. One recommendation would be to invest in a table that can be opened and extended with one or two leafs, in order to allow for more guests.
