When my son was born, it was by far the best day in all my life. All I could think about was the great responsibility I would have of raising him and how I wanted to make every day a happy one for him.

Like most new parents, I was determined to document all of his “firsts” — smiles, words, teeth, steps, etc. I would do this by taking photos and videos and keeping a diary of sorts.
When the holidays came around, I wanted to make them extra special by inviting all of my friends and family over, exchanging lots of presents, and of course personalizing my baby’s first Christmas stocking.
Because I do tend to get a tad bit OC about stuff like that, my child’s first Christmas stocking was one important thing. As long as it is done correctly, it will be able to stand the test of time and his first stocking may and very well be his last. So I definitely wanted to take the time to find the absolute perfect one for my son, or to have one custom-made, which is what I actually ended up doing.

There are plenty of stores that offer parents the opportunity to personally design their baby’s first Christmas stocking.
Plus, because you can find most of these stores on the internet, you cna have it made pretty much any time of the year. In fact, this was one of my main considerations when choosing a store.
I wanted it to be ready as early as possible just to make sure that when Christmas time comes around, it would be right there.
Some other things that I had researched on were the credibility of the store, the quality of their products, and how long the store had been up and running.
I also looked into the price, however, it was not as important as what I had just mentioned. This stocking was really important so I wanted it perfect, no matter the cost.
After a lot of painstaking research, I found a company that looked like it would do a fantastic job on my baby’s first Christmas stocking. I gave them a ring and the owned promised that everything would be just perfect.
So I told her exactly what I had in mind for my baby’s first Christmas stocking and waited anxiously for her to complete the order.
When the finished product arrived, it took my breath away! His first stocking, being as beautiful as it was, was sure to be around for a really long time. I can barely wait till I can put it up and show it off again.
