Perfect Baby Shower Theme to Welcome the New Little Bundle of Joy – Part 2

In my previous post, I have shared with you some awesome theme ideas to help you organize and put together a fun, special, and memorable baby shower.

If you feel that those ideas aren’t the right theme for your baby shower, here are some more ideas that might help, and you might find interesting:

  1.   Tea Party Theme
This one is great for an afternoon party, like an hour or so after lunch. It’s also great for a small and intimate one or when it’s a all girls shower – with only the mom-to-be and her girlfriends. This is also good to combine with the garden or sunflower theme or it could simply stand on its own. You can have it outdoors or indoors, perhaps in one of the mom-to-be’s friends or family’s house.

To pair with your warm beverages, you can make arrangements of various sweets and pastries – from cookies to cupcakes or cakes to tarts or pies to sandwiches. You can also wrap assorted goodies for guests to take home as a sweet party favor.

  2.   Beauty and the Beast Theme
I’m pretty sure you know the beloved and most watched beauty and the beast. Also, you must know about the singing and dancing cutleries and elegant china wares.

This is another great theme that is truly fun and memorable. Create a room that gives a subtle nod to the famous beauty and the beast, and transport your guests into this magical world. Decorate your tables with garden cloches, and spread it with beautifully colored decadents sweets and pastries. And then, you can also play in your background, the songs from that animated film.

  3.   Hot Air Balloon Theme
This whimsical theme will transport your guests to a wonderful place like Cappadocia, Turkey – a city known for hot air balloons.

This theme will take your guests and your baby shower to new heights. Decorate your venue with sky-blue backdrop incorporating bright colors, carnival fleet of hot air balloons, and hang some mobile, 3D whimsical cloud of balloons.

  4.   French Countryside Theme
This is another interesting and memorable theme that will surely make for great photo opportunities.

For you backdrop and decorations, take inspiration from the picturesque and dreamy look and feel of the French countryside during the summers – the fields are carpeted with lavender hue and the sky is cool blue.

Drape tables or chairs with embroidered linens, then make a couple of tiny arrangement of forget-me-nots,  dangle some wired wreaths to give that feel of cool breeze. For your food, you can add some potato-leek soup, especially when having a lunch or dinner time party. Add some pissaladiere, madeleines, and for your sweets. – the mouthwatering chocolat blanc.

  5.   Graphic Mobile Theme
If you and the mom-to-be or parents-to-be like to have something personalozed, and you and some friends would love to do eye-catching do-it-yourself drcorations, then this theme will surely give you that fun and excitement.

This theme hits two things actually – you, the guests and the expecting mom or parents not only get to enjoy a fun-filled baby shower, but you also get to collectively do something – like a design element for the nursery or create something that the parents-to-be can have as a keepsake.
