The UPPAbaby Cruz is an ideal buggy for new born infants and those up to a weight of 50lb. The cosy seat of the Cruz allows the parent to swap the way in which the seat faces. Parents of new babies prefer to have the baby facing them so as they can cast a watchful eye over them. Inquisitive infants are quite happy to face and watch the world go by. This modification is very simple to engage. In either direction the seat is equipped to recline in five different positions that include a lie flat setting that is the ideal location for babies of less than three months o The infant will be safely restrained in the seat by the five point safety harness. The restraint has padded shoullder straps that can be altered as the infant develops. There is a very substantial compartment positioned beneath the seat to accommodate the daily groceries. UPPAbaby has included all round suspension with a shock absorbing feature that will give the infant an enjoyable and smooth ride.With the use of a conversion kit the UPPAbaby Cruz will accommodate a car seat. This feature gives the parent the ability to move the sleeping infant from the care whilst still in the car seat which can then be fixed to the UPPAbaby chassis. The aluminium chassis weighs approximately 19lb and this slimline design is able to fit with ease through a standard sized doorway. The handle bar can be altered to suit the individual height of the parents thus preventing taller parents from stooping over and becoming uncomfortable sore following a long walk. This alteration can be achieved by simply releasing the telescopic tubing and locking it in when the correct position has been reached. Whether the seat is attached to the chassis or not the Cruz can be folded down in one simple movement.The canopy of the UPPAbaby will allow a taller baby to sit comfortably due to its innovative shape and design that can take up a number of fitting positions. The canopy also has a retractable piece that gives additional shade from the dangerous sun rays.
