You might be thinking monochrome is boring. Well, they are actually sleek, cool and very masculine, and classy too. Decorate the whole place in black and white – the backdrop with black and white balloons, and your tables and chairs too, and then add a little of gold to make the black and white really stand-out. You can even ask your guest to be in black and white.
4. Pastel
Don’t say that pastel are only for girls, most definitely not. Pastel blue or green or even orange for that matter is real sweet for a boy baby shower. It’s really charming even with just balloons arranged in your backdrop, but if you want to give it a real masculine feel, then you can add some cars and trucks. For your main decor, it would be great to make use of actual kids car toys, and then scatter some tiny toy cars on the tables.
5. Clothesline
This is another cool concept and is so cute and adorable too. Instead of making use of lots of balloons, why not make a clothesline at the back of the cake and hang some cute baby clothes for boys, a great alternative to banners. An addition to this concept could be to have a couple of plain onesies and then stack some markers and fabric paints. Ask your guests to decorate the onesies before the shower starts, and then string them up so everyone can see. Their work will make a wonderful addition to your decorations.
