In my previous post, I have shared a list of cute baby shower theme ideas that are not corny or cheesy, that will surely make for a fun and memorable party, and will leave your guests swooning.
If you have not found anything interesting from previous list or still looking for more choices, here’s another list of cute baby shower themes that hopefully will help you find that theme you are looking for:
1. Boho
This is a bohemian inspired theme for a baby shower that is either intimate and small or a bigger and grandeous baby shower. To achieve that bohemian look and feel, make use of browns and creams or some peach or sage palletes. Then, bring in some outdoor pillow seatings and some rustic tables. Make use of simple laces and scene of plumes. And for the cake, go for naked cakes instead of colorful ones.
2. Love and Peace
This theme gives you that groovy 70’s look and feel. Using some peace signs on the wall, and some vintage arts and tapestries for your decorations will help you achieve that feel. Prepare some low-key foods over some fancy menus. For your party favors you can give out snap shots and candid shots taken from a polaroid camera.
3. Fairytale
Many would think that fairytale themes are only for baby girls. Well, it is a gender neutral theme.
You are celebrating a little prince or princess on the way. Achieve that whimsical look and feel using some vintage linens, some heavy florals and whimsical touches to make it look and feel like you are in some castle or something. Go for china wares, some gold and silver ones and use some ribbons. You and the guest may also opt to wear costumes and wear some tiaras and crowns.
4. Succulents
This is another gender neutral theme idea that is really interesting.
Almost everyone have some pruned succulent decors at home, right? Well, they don’t just look cute displayed in the windowsills or center tables, they also make for that unique theme. You can be playful and artsy putting green succulent frosting on your cookies and cupcakes, and also turn your cake into a flowering succulents. You can also give out succulents in personalized little plant pots as party favors.
5. You “Donut” Know How Much You are Loved
This is a sweet gender neutral baby shower theme that will surely leave your guests swooning. Who doesn’t love some sweet and delish donuts.
This party features piles of sweet and colorful donuts. You can also make use of do-it-yourself cake table backdrops with some sprinkle-like colored pieces of papers. And don’t forget to serve hot coffee and tea, whether it’s a breakfast or afternoon or evening party. Coffee or tea always go well with donuts, that is.
6. Adventure Begins
This is a travel-inspired baby shower theme that is also gender neutral. This is great for expecting parents who loves to travel or do outdoor activities.
Turn your venue into that feel of traveling to some place or make you feel like you’re a traveler. Make use of miniature globes, use maps as table runners or backdrops, display some vintage suitcases and some camera or telescope or some items that often used on travel. You can also have a travel-themed cake decked out with passport, make sure to have some in-flight snacks as well.
Finally, these themes can either be used as stand alone or you can mix and match them with other themes.
Hope this list will help you decide on your baby shower theme. In case you have not read my previous post, you may check it out for more ideas. I have also shared in previous posts various babys shower themes that are gender focused or neutral. Do check them out for more ideas.
