Even though she is a stubborn toddler, Sarah is a joy. She knows what she wants, even at a very young age. From a very young age she started to assert her authority on the family with baby tantrums. The barrier of not having verbal language skills has not been a barrier for Sarah. Even though she is too young to speak, she communicates well. She has developed some words to communicate like no, up, this and that.
Even though she is young she has discovered ways to communicate non verbally. screwing up her face when she does not like something or a huge grin if she gets her way. Typically of most toddlers, screaming, crying and yelling are common place when she does not get what she wants. This type of behaviour is actually marking a new stage of development.
Sarah’s tantrums have started a lot earlier in her life than her sisters ever did. Sarah is the queen of baby tantrums.
