Baby Shower DIAPER Game Ideas

There are  lot of diaper-related games for baby shower. I have included some of them in the previous posts. Perhaps, the reason why diaper games are such a hit is  because they are always so fun to play.

Here are more diaper game ideas that you can use for your baby shower. They are very easy to organize and like I said, so much fun to play. Plus, they always work best with any type of guests.

  1.   Dirty Diaper

This is a hilarious game that will surely get you and your guests crackling. Maybe the word “dirty” get you thinking if you will be using actual dirty diapers, don’t worry because you’re not going to. But, this is sure fun.

WHAT YOU NEED:
– chocolate bars (use variety)
– packs of newborn diapers
– pens
– papers

HOW TO DO IT:

Before the baby shower or before your guests arrive, you need do some preparation. Heat each kind of chocolate bar in the microwave. Once melted, smear the melted chocolate unto the diaper. Then, heat another kind of chocolate bar and do the same. Now, keep track which chocolate bar goes on which diaper by numbering each diaper.

During the game, bring out the prepared diapers and gather your guest around. They can work indivudually or in pairs. Provide each with paper and pen. Then ask them to do a sniff test of the diaper and guess which chocolate bar is smeared on the diaper.

Write down your guesses on the provided paper. The guest or pair who makes the most correct guesses wins. Then, award the winner or winners  with chocolate bars. Better yet, after the game, give out the chocolate bars that you used for the game, and see if they’re going to eat them.

  2.   What’s in the Diaper?

This is another hilarious diaper game that will surely give you and your guest another round of laughter. Some people who have not played any diaper baby shower game, might want to avoid playing because they thought of the dirty stuff that might be coming with it. But, like the first game, you have nothing to worry about dirty stuff.

WHAT YOU NEED:

– different small baby items (baby socks, pacifiers, baby bottles, and the likes…)
– packs of disposable newborn baby diapers
– tape
– marker

HOW TO DO IT:

Before the baby shower, gather different small baby items. You can also ask your guest to bring some small baby items as gifts. You can do the preparation yourself before the shower, if you already have enough items. Or, you can also do this as part of pre-game activity along with the guests.

Tape a disposable diaper around one small baby item. Keep track of the baby item wrapped  inside of the baby diaper. Number each diaper and write tthe item on your master list. Make sure you don’t show it to them.

Gather your guest around and give them paper and pens. Ask them to guess what is inside the diaper by feeling it. They will write their guesses on the piece of paper. The guest who gets the most correct guesses wins.

  3.   Diaper Stack

You might be familiar with stacking game. If you love that game, then you will surely enjoy this diaper version of stacking.

WHAT YOU NEED:

– piles of newborn baby diapers (for each group)

HOW TO DO IT:

Divide your guests into groups of four or five, depending on how many guests you have. The idea is to divide them equally. Provide each group with equal number of diapers.

Each group will line behind their assigned table. Set the table not too far away from the group. Each member of the group will take turns in putting one diaper on top of the other or others. One diaper and one player at a time.

The game will end when a group’s stack of diapers fall over or until only one group remains where their stack of diapers does not fall over. It may also be based on the number of diapers stacked before one group’s stack falls over or whoever has the most diapers used before their stacks fell, wins.

  4.   Diaper Raffle

This one is really great because its a win-win they say for both the guests and the mom-to-be or the parents-to-be.

WHAT YOU NEED:

– raffle tickets
– prizes ( for each draw)

HOW TO DO IT:

When you send out invites to your guests, ask them to bring a pack of baby diaper. Inform them that for each pack they get one raffle ticket. This raffle tickets will be drawn and that there will be fun prizes. So, the more packs of diapers, the more raffle tickets, and the more chances of winning.

You can arrange small gifts for the prizes. At the end of the game, the parents-to-be will also be happy to have packs of diapers. That”s a lot of help, I swear they’ll love it.

These are just few ideas you can play around with. There are plenty other diaper games. I hope these ideas I listed above will help you come up with your own diaper games. You can never go wrong with diaper games. So go for it and have fun!
