If you workng on what messsge to write, here are some ideas  that you may use as inspiration or as a thought starter as you craft the most heartfelt  message or greeting.

  6.   Start the journey of motherhood or parenthood

Before you write something, you first need to consider some.factors and what to include in the card.

  1.   Who to Address
Although often baby showers are for the moms-to-be, you might want to include both parents. Especially when the invitation mentions that both the mom and dad will be present.

  2.   Baby’s Gender
If you plan to gift an item for the baby, then it is good to know the baby’s gender so that you can appropriately tailor your gift and the card message.

  3.   Your Closeness to the Parents
If you want to write something funny to put a smile on the parents-to-be’s faces, then you can if you are close with them. However, if you are not on that level as of yet, then perhaps you can write something sweet and a little bit formal, just to be safe.

  4.   Parental Insight
If you are a parent yourself, you could write a message that highlight the highs and lows of parenting or you can write a message on the bond between the mom and baby.

  5.   Sign-off
End with a sign-off that’s appropriate, meaning depending on your closeness to the mom or parents-to-be. Here’s a few sign-off ideas:

– Lots of hugs and kisses,
– With love,
– Lots of love,
– All the best,
– Much love,
