Fashionable Kids Jeans

Jeans are among the most classic, longest lasting pieces of clothing to have ever been popular on this earth. Everyone, from construction workers to the seven-figure CEO, has likely worn a pair of jeans since its creation in the early 20th century. From there, jeans have overcome class and race differences and even become and icon across gender and age as well.

There is no exception when it comes to kids jeans. As a result of their durability, ease of care and long term quality, kids jeans are a staple for many parents that need an affordable option to fill their closets. Since they are made from cotton, a very affordable and durable material, parents are able to wash them multiple times and no see many signs of wear that enable them to last through the rough play that kids experience daily.

I’m sure you are familiar with blue jeans, the class style of kids jeans. Created in Italy and the south of France, blue jeans were more widely referred to as denims, in reference to the southern French town of Nimes. The iconic indigo shade of this new cotton material became popular amongst working class men who toiled outdoors and needed durable clothing to last the endless scrapes and dangers they faced surrounded by tools and equipment. In due time, the popularity rose among the ranks of the elite class to become fashionable attire acceptable in formal and casual settings, outdoor and indoor, for traveling and for staying home. For kids (and parents!) this meant they could rely on a single pair of pants that were acceptable in a number of settings without the need to bring multiple changes of clothes for various occasions.

Shortly after gaining popularity, jeans could be found in a range of colors and styles. these designs were a little bit on the bazaar side of things but fashion designers were inspired to create many styles to offer variety to consumers. Kids jeans nowadays consist mostly of blue jeans in an array of washes and shades, lengths, and thicknesses to accommodate any style or season. As you would expect, lighter thinner materials are reserved for warmer temperatures while darker thicker materials are better suited for colder climates.

Since kids jeans are such a versatile article of clothing they have become a staple in many kids closets. Its ability to match with any style and any choice in shirts has afforded it a title that many clothes have not achieved: a classic.
